Our Mission
“Nice Hoop“
To provide a platform for local legends, collegiate athletes, and professional standouts.
To expose Shelby County youth to the elite basketball talent in this region, so that they may
be inspired to use basketball as a tool to develop opportunity, leadership, responsibility,
dedication, and perseverance.
The Shelby County Pro-Am League features nearly 50 professional and/or collegiate level athletes.
Our Program:
“Balling to the
Bank”
Goal:
To expose Shelby County youth to financial literacy principals, facilitate opportunities for application of financial practices, and encourage a growth mindset toward practical financial management.
Commitment:
The Shelby County Pro-Am and the Balling to the Bank Financial Literacy Program will provide this service free of charge to participating schools.
We ask that the school join in a Memorandum of Understanding, provide a designated space to facilitate workshops and provide school-based staff to support program facilitators during workshops.
